Pastor Lonnie's book, Desperate People in Desperate Times, documents the journey that Victory has been on since 2004 when the Lord confronted a carefully constructed system of church based on busyness, professionalism, duty, and programs.  This well-intentioned system had taken a community of people away from the true meaning of church and the presence of God which led to barrenness, religious blindness, and narcissism.  As a result, we abandoned all we knew to go on an adventure to a place of being directed by the presence of Jesus.
